Pure textual files in Word or Excel formats are not affected by this advisory. However, very large graphic files are also not encouraged please avoid posting very large image files in your online classes. You may continue to upload flattened graphics only in Powerpoint or other images in PNG or JPG formats. Please be advised that teachers and students are discouraged from uploading video materials in the LMS you may use the URL tool in the LMS and provide the link to your video files stored in the cloud, YouTube or other external storage applications.

Once the Open LMS is back to the normal service capacity, classes can shift back to o-learning from e-learning mode. All Deans are mandated to ensure that all your respective faculty members are properly oriented to the university’s Learning Continuity Plan. Teachers are advised to include this advisory in their online classes and SIM-SDL manuals. The e-learning mode is the contingency use of email, SMS, Messenger Group Chats, and even Zoom or Google Meet sessions outside of the Open LMS.
